| Wow! It's been four months since I last posted! Does that tell you anything about the pace of my life recently? I only have four weeks left in this semester, which means that I have officially entered the end-of-semester crunch time. Yep. Papers, assignments, exams galore! Doesn't that sound fun? Ok, really. I like school, I'm just ready for this semester to be over. Registered for next year's classes a couple of weeks ago. I'm taking: -Biochemistry I -Organic Chemistry I -Microbiology -Philosophy of Science -World Literature Doesn't that sound fun! I'm going to have to study like crazy, but it's actually really exciting! I love my field! Tonight the choir and orchestra at my church is presenting Saviour: God's Passion for His People a modern Oratorio. It's going to be amazing! I hope and pray that many people see how much God has done for them and that it brings glory to God. I'm constantly amazed at my Lord. He has done so much for me! |

| Though none go with me, I still will follow. No turning back. No turning back. Have you ever thought about what you're saying when you sing this simple little song? It's about total commitment. Total surrender. Forever. It's a big commitment. It will consume every part of your life. You can't go half-way. Have you decided to follow Jesus? Be forewarned, it's not a little decision. God requires everything. But it's worth it. He gave His all for you... how could you do less? Before you sing this again, I challenge you to think about your walk with the Lord. Can you honestly say that to God? |

| Sooo... today my family (including an aunt and uncle from S.C.) went to Carnton Mansion which is a historic house in Franklin. During the Civil War a 5 hour battle was fought in Franklin... during those 5 hours 9,500 men were killed... 7,000 confederate soldiers and 2,500 union soldiers. It was known as the bloodiest 5 hours of the war. (btw, if you do your math that's more than 3 men a minute) Just after the war the house was transformed into a hospital, hundreds of soldiers were treated there. There are still blood stains on some of the floors. There is also a confederate cemetery next to the family cemetery where almost 2,000 soldiers are buried. Here are a few pictures from the day. (I wasn't allowed to take any pictures inside the house ) Carnton Mansion from the front Carnton Mansion from the back
